If you enjoy taking sports or nature shots then you can appreciate the value of a camera with a good telephoto lens. The Canon PowerShot SX30 IS is a neat all-in-one with a 35x optical stabilized image zoom. 35x is the equivalent of 840mm and will allow you get close up to your subject without actually having to get close up. Of course with that kind of imagery, there’s potential for camera shake and the Optical Image Stabilizer feature will hold those images steady for your shot.
