So today we’re going to take a look at an internal SSD, namely the Samsung 850 EVO 250GB 2.5-Inch SATA III SSD. We picked the Samsung 850 EVO 250 GB model as currently it’s the best-selling SSD over at Amazon plus it’s receiving great reviews around the web.

Upgrading your PC with an SSD is one of the most cost effective ways to breathe new life into an old unit, and with the Samsung 250GB 850 EVO you can’t really go wrong. Whilst not the cheapest on the block, it’s still priced well given its outstanding features. Read on to discover more about the Samsung 250GB 850 EVO SSD.

Samsung 850 EVO 250GB SSD reviews
Amazon – 4.5 out of 5
NewEgg – 4 out of 5
Walmart – 5 out of 5

So as you can see the Samsung 850 EVO SSD is highly rated around the internet. Of course, it comes in other capacities too, up to a mouth-watering 2TB model. The sweet spot in terms of GB per dollar is the 1TB model, yet the 250GB would be enough to get Windows up and running with a few other bits and pieces installed. Of course all your data files are on a NAS, aren’t they ;-) So, in conclusion, we’re not going to swim against general public opinion, we’re going to give the Samsung 850 EVO SSD a big Our Picks thumbs up.

And just in case you are still not convinced here’s a great video review from Gadget Class comparing a number of SSDs with the Samsung 850 EVO coming out tops for the ‘Average User’.
