The keyboard organizer - Are you kidding me?

keyboardorganizer

“look I open”, it appears to say. I will not raise this thing up on a pedestal, because I simply don’t like it. Perhaps there are people that do and perhaps there are people that find it useful, but I don’t. I have looked around my desktop, and it’s somewhat messy, I admit. I mean it could be cleaner, but I seem to be having issues finding objects that would FIT into that keyboard, excluding a few pencils and a post-it sticker.

What’s with that name? The keyboard organizer. Does it occasionally organize your keyboard? Or let me rephrase, is there anyone around with a disorganized keyboard? Let’s get real. CD’s? My CD collection bag is taller than my desktop lamp, they wouldn’t fit there no way. Keys? I’d like to keep my keys on the fridge or in the hallway, so I can pick them up on my way out and not to have to excuse myself in front of my friends. Gee, I forgot my keys, in my keyboard!.

Scissors? I don’t think that’s a regularly used tool on most people’s desks. Neither is scotch or duct tape. That leaves us with a few pens and pencils, a notebook (careful, a not too big one, it might not fit in), and a few other pencils and pens. That’s sweet. Make sure you stack up to 10 writing instruments in your keyboard to be sure you have something to write with if the need arises.

Bottom end? No, thank you, I’d rather buy an USB Pole Dancer and have fun with it.

    I must get’it!

I can’t wait to get one. By the way, I use my scotch tape and scissors every day! I also constantly use the same 2 data disks and don’t really have any convenient place to keep them. My desk is a large piece of painted wood held up by a 1/2 file cabinet on each side so I don’t have regular drawers and storage space. This is going to be my lifesaver!
Just glancing around my desk (sans storage, so everything is visible), here is what I plan to keep inside the organizer:

    Tape
    Scissors
    Pens
    Address Labels
    Dental Floss
    Gum
    Calculator
    Eyeglass wipes
2 data CDs and 2 hard disks
    Corporate credit card
    White-out pen
    List of passwords
    Highlighters
    Small tube of hand lotion

This is such a brilliant idea!
