If you have any automated Page Rank checking software you may have noticed it returning a NA page rank from Google. That’s because, as we found out today, Google has changed the URL webmasters can use to obtain the page rank of a URL. So if any software or query tool uses the old URL it will be returning the NA value rather than the true PR of the webpage. Here are the old and new URL formats

Old – http://toolbarqueries.google.com/search?
New – http://toolbarqueries.google.com/tbr?

Yep, it’s that simple – redirect anyone?

So until page rank checkers amend their code and release new versions, your browser status bar may well look like this for a while yet.
