Toshiba launch new Tecra A10-S3511 laptop

Toshiba has unleashed a new laptop on the world, the Tecra A10-S3511 which boasts the following bells and whistles

* Intel® Core™2 Duo Processor P8600 2.4 GHz
* Memory 2 GB PC2-6400 DDR2 800MHz SDRAM

* NVIDIA® Quadro® NVS 150M 256MB
* 160GB 7200 rpm HDD
* DVD-SuperMulti drive
* Intel® Wi-Fi Link 5100AGN
* Bluetooth® V2.1
* Webcam and microphone built into LCD bezel
* Up to 2.96 hours battery life
* 1-Type II PC Card Slot
* No PC Express Slot
* 3-USB (2.0), 1-eSATA/USB (2.0) ports
* 6.2 lbs

But possibly the best spec of all is the price tag which rocks is at US$1249 which is pretty good for the specs above. We especially like the XP Pro downgrade option – XP still going strong after all these years! Perhaps the only niggle is a 3 hour battery life.

The Tecra A10-S3511 is so new we couldn’t find any reviews out there, but if someone has taken the plunge (and we couldn’t blame you for doing so) then please let us know what you think!
