Verizon release the Nokia 2605 Mirage for $50
December 8th, 2008
Looking for a cheap phone? Well, Verizon have just released Nokia’s 2605 Mirage for the US$50 after mail-in rebate and of course it comes shackled with a two year contract. So what does the flip Mirage 2605 offer us?
* Bluetooth connectivity
* A camera that will say “Say Cheez” – how cheesy is that?
* Internal 1.8 inch 128×160 res display
* External 1.2 inch 128×128 res display
* 3.22 x 1.65 x 0.62 inches
* 2.32 oz
* 210 minutes of talktime
* 240 hours on standby
* Verizon’s VZ Navigator and Chaperone services
* Calendar, Calendar Preview, Notepad, Calculator, Alarm Clock, World Clock, and Stopwatch tools
* Speakerphone
Yeah, that’s right, not a lot, especially when Verizon have already chucked the Motorola W755 at us for free earlier this year. Not sure what they are playing, perhaps they think the recession has loosened our purse strings? Dream on!
