Samsung launch the swivel phone, SCH-W350 aka SPH-W3500

Despite only currently being available in Samsung’s native Korea, I’m pretty sure this swivel design from Samsung will be picked up elsewhere very soon. This nifty feature is currently available on Samsung’s latest offering, the SCH-W350 (aka SPH-W3500) which also sports HDSPA connectivity providing a mega speedy 7.2 Mbps compared to the the standard 3.6 Mbps. Other features include

* MP3 playback
* 3MP camera
* Bluetooth 2.0 connectivity
* Global roaming

These suckers will set you back at least the equivalent of US$635 if you should feel the need to rush over to Korea to grab one and I’m not sure if I’d want to be the mug who ends up holding one of these whilst watching a video with friends. But anyway the design is sure to catch on and should be available on a phone closer to you very soon.
