T-Mobile Sidekick Slide

Yet another mobile out there for US$200 with a two year plan. This time it’s the T-Mobile Sidekick Slide with a sliding screen no less plus all the following bits and pieces

* QWERTY keypad
* Email, text, pxt and instant messaging
* 1.3 MP camera
* Bluetooth connectivity
* Speakerphone
* Micro SD slot
* Quad-band GSM
* 5 hours talk time and 3 days on standby
* Support for AAC, MP3 and WMA formats

To be honest the Slide offers no more than any other $200 phone out there, in fact a 1.3 MP camera seems to be a bit of a rip-off, however if you like the sliding screen it just may be your cup of tea. But I don’t really think this phone will fulfill even the average mobile user’s needs and T-Mobile have dropped the ball with this offering at that price. The Sidekick Slide could one of the first to get a price cut in the build up to Christmas.
