Verizon unleash the LG Venus
November 9th, 2007If you’re keen as to get your hands on an LG Venus from Verizon then head on over to their website for your pre-order today for the November 19th release of the black version. A pink version will appear on December 11th. US$200 will get you one of these suckers along with an accompanying two year plan, a standalone version will set you back $350.
So what about the bells and whistles? Well here’s the low-down
* 2 mp camera
* microSD storage up to 8 GB
* stereo bluetooth support
* plays nicely with MP3, WMA, AAC, & AAC+ formats
* speakerphone
* touch screen for system navigation
So nothing major really and $200 seems a pretty standard figure (with a two year plan) for these kind of phones at the moment. So unless you’re desperate for one, I’d wait until the Christmas rush to see if prices tumble.
