Sleeping with your iPod
January 19th, 2007
Here’s another cute thing. A pillow in the shape of an iPod, for loves that don’t want to be separated from their iPods when sleeping. Now you can literally say “I slept with my iPod last night”.
I must admit it’s a good idea. The last time I heard about it, pricing and availability were unknown to the source, but now, at a quick glance, you can buy the pillow from Kleargear for only $20.
If you expect to find a fully functional iPod inside the pillow, I must disappoint you. There isn’t any. On the other hand, it DOES have a built-in FM scan radio with audio speaker, and you DO have the possibility of connecting it to your personal iPod, CD player, computer or other audio device and enjoy great soundings.
The buttons you see in the image are not there for decorations only. They’re fully functional too. Press POWER to turn on the radio, press SCAN to change the radio station, press RADIO/MP3 to change between the radio or portable music source plugged into the jack cord, and press RESET to restore the factory settings. The volume can be adjusted by pressing the red up and down triangles on either side of VOLUME.
Shaped like an iPod, the soft pillow is white with a shiny blue screen, gray click wheel and a silver back design. It uses 2 AA batteries and it’s 16″ high by 9″ wide. Amazing, isn’t it?
