Simple Audio-Video e-mailing

Gabmail

I was browsing the web from work today, and I have found a website that surprised me by its simplicity and feedback-requesting from the end-user. The website’s main purpose is to send audio-video files from one person to another, via the Internet cloud, without having to worry about file size restrictions, bandwidth or incompatibilities between the two hosts.

The website I’m talking about is called FreeGabMail and it requires no registration, no fees and it has no annoying popups. It’s not much as a design (there’s place for improvement), but it does the trick it was made for. Based on Flash, an applet is developed to take control (in a good way, we hope) of your microphone and webcam and will record the desired media IN REAL TIME.

Well, after you finish fooli… Uhm, I mean recording the desired information, you can review it, re-record it or ship it to the destination. When you click Finish, a new e-mail message will appear, with a standard text, including the link of the video. Just fill out the message with the proper information and send it. Another thing I feel like mentioning right now is that the audio-video quality is very good. See a sample by clicking here.

Like I said, this whole project is still in the beta stage of development, but I’m sure major improvements will be made. I have successfully made my point.
