Intel Quad Core is almost here

Only two weeks left until the deadline Intel promised to respect regarding the launch of the Intel Quad-Core chip. The long expected hardware “brain” will be initially produced to work only with HP workstations and it will try to overwhelm its competitor, AMD in the monthly statistics.

This is a big NO for all of the top-level end-users that were planning to test the core processor. The computers will probably use Intel’s planned Xeon 5300 chip, and will be designed to run high-end applications like seismic analysis and visualization technologies from major companies.

One of the first users that will test the chip will be the Gates Planetarium from Denver’s Museum of Nature and Science. Related to this, a press conference called “The Quad Fest” will take place there in two weeks. Reporters are invited.

The Intel Quad Core chip is a revolutionary device that we’re expecting to be available and most of all accessible, very soon among the end-users. After all, the end users make the difference, the end users are the people that can form a general opinion about a certain product, and after all, our thoughts matter.
